Karen Black is a psychology practicum student from York University. She is completing her Ph.D. in Clinical-Developmental Neuropsychology. Karen has experience and a personal interest in supporting children and teens with complex mental health, and their families. She has worked with children with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning DisabilitIes, anxiety disorders and anger management difficulties. At Possibilities, Karen provides supervised therapy to children and adolescents using a strength-based, cognitive behavioural approach informed by mindfulness and dialectical behaviour theory.
