Dr. Doug Schmidt (he/him) is a Child, Adolescent, and Adult Clinical Psychologist who has worked extensively in primary care, school, and rehabilitation settings. With thirty years of experience assessing and treating ADD/ADHD, Learning Disabilities, and Autism, Dr. Schmidt also assists clients overcoming anxiety, mood, and self-regulation difficulties. He integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) with ADHD Coaching. Dr. Schmidt is involved in comprehensive ADHD assessments as part of the Multidisciplinary Team at Possibilities. He also provides therapy for teens, adults, and families, and coaching support for parents of children 12 years and younger.
