Diksha Dua (she/her) is an experienced entrepreneur, mentor and leader committed to creating fulfilling experiences for patients and clients. She has over 20 years of senior leadership experience in business transformation, team management and innovation across multiple industries, both private and public sectors, and has held leadership positions across Canada and globally. Diksha leverages these skill sets as Director of Innovation and Talent Strategy at the clinic to support new programme and service development, identify the right talent to support our patients and internal teams, and help create synergies through innovating operational processes that fuel growth.Â
Diksha’s academic background includes a BA in International Relations and Japanese, an MA in Human Security and Peacebuilding, and Masters Level certifications in Healthcare Management, Palliative Care and Gerontology. She is also a certified EQi360 Leadership and Career Strategist.
As a 5th year Student Therapist through Gestalt Institute of Toronto, Diksha brings a multi-cultural, whole-hearted approach to ensuring every person receives mental health care support within a space characterized by transparency, generosity and warmth to build resiliency at home and at work.
She has a clinical understanding of Neuroaffirmtive approaches (especially with Autism and ADHD) and her practice is focused on co-relational awareness, strength-based dialogue, mindfulness and somatic awareness in the here and now. Her ability to create ground, nurture perspective and awareness often provides clients the opportunity to reflect on the multiple facets of transitions, reframing in alignment to their values and creating space for acknowledging suffering and joy.Â
Diksha leverages her training in Gestalt Therapy, CBT techniques and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction principles to support clients across the lifespan (18+) for experiences that include themes of immigration and belonging, addressing generational and cultural gaps, grief and loss (divorce, death, MAID, corporate and leadership transitions etc.), managing neurodiversity in families (parents and adult siblings), burnout and anxiety, imposter syndrome and relational challenges at work. Diksha works closely with clients on self-conceptualization, self-esteem, boundary setting, and communication support.
She is currently finishing her practicum hours towards a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) designation. She is deeply committed to ensuring clients identify tools to gain insight into strengths, navigate their personal experience, advocate for themselves and enhance their relationships and professional performance.
