Jane Rosenberg
MS., BSc., RSSW

Registered Social Service Worker

Jane Rosenberg holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology and is a registered Social Service Worker with over 35 years of experience working with children, youth, and adults across child welfare, youth justice, children’s mental health, public education, and the women’s anti-violence sector. She is a certified Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS) Provider, Consultant, and Trainer, and uses this evidence-based framework in her work with families.

Families come to Jane to explore the CPS approach when more conventional strategies haven’t worked, and in some cases have even escalated conflict at home, at school, or in the community. Rather than focusing on the behaviour itself, Jane helps families understand that their children aren’t unmotivated, but are often struggling with specific skills needed to meet certain expectations. She believes everyone does the best they can with the circumstances they’re in, and creates an inclusive, non-judgmental space where families can identify the barriers they’re facing and collaboratively develop solutions — helping not just to solve problems, but to repair and strengthen family relationships along the way.

Jane works with children and youth who are struggling to meet expectations at school, at home, or in the community. Outside of the clinic, she’s an avid ice hockey player — she started in 1973, long before most people knew girls could play, and went on to compete at the national level with the University of Toronto Lady Blues.
