Better sleep and recovery are essential for good health. We optimize both.

If you were assessed more than 2 years ago, we can still help—contact our team to discuss.
No. You do not need a referral from a Primary Care Physician or Nurse Practitioner. If your child or teen is already a patient at Possibilities, and their ADHD assessment took place within the last two years, we have your information. If the assessment was completed more than 2 years ago, please complete our Intake Form to ensure we have updated information. If your child or teen is new to the clinic, please complete our Intake Form.
Yes. If your child was assessed elsewhere, we ask that you share a copy of the previous ADHD assessment report with us. Our team will review the report to determine whether the diagnostic process was comprehensive and rigorous. We look for evidence that clinical interviews, questionnaire data, and rating scales of focus and executive functioning were part of the previous assessment.
If the previous report meets our standards, your child will qualify for the ADHD in Sport Service. If not, we’ll recommend a comprehensive assessment — either our ADHD Direct Assessment or our Signature ADHD & Mental Health Assessment— to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
If your child’s previous ADHD assessment was completed at Possibilities Clinic, your report is already in our medical system, and you automatically qualify if the report is not more than 2 years old. Your child may require an updated ADHD assessment to determine the nature and severity of current symptoms if the report you have is out of date. More information about our ADHD update assessments—both the ADHD Direct Update Assessment and Treatment Planning Service and the Signature ADHD Update Assessment and Treatment Planning Service are described on our website.
The cost of our ADHD in Sport Program is $600. Only Medical Doctors are covered by OHIP. Allied health professionals like Nurse Practitioners and Psychotherapists are not. Please check with your insurance provider to see if services provided by a Nurse Practitioner and Psychotherapist are covered. You can find information about funding options, bursaries, and medical loans for assessments here.
Our Loyalty Program applies to our assessments where diagnoses are being made or ruled out. Since this ADHD in Sport Program is an add-on service—and not a diagnostic assessment—the clinic discount does not apply. However, if your child has been assessed previously at Possibilities and requires an updated ADHD assessment, like our ADHD Direct Update Assessment and Treatment Planning Service or our Signature ADHD Update Assessment and Treatment Planning Service, a 10% discount through our Loyalty Program will be applied to the cost of either assessment. Some exclusions apply. Please speak with our Care Team to see if you are eligible.
Treatment recommendations made through our ADHD in Sports Program are sports specific. Recommendations regarding school likely appear in your child’s original ADHD assessment report, or in any updated ADHD assessment you may pursue, like our ADHD Direct Update Assessment and Treatment Planning Service or our Signature ADHD Update Assessment and Treatment Planning Service – Possibilities.
Yes. In your NP Medication Review and Planning session, the Nurse Practitioner will review the next steps in the Treatment Plan based on the recommendations of the team. You’ll have the option of having your child’s medication adjusted, optimized, and prescribed through the Nurse Practitioner at Possibilities at a cost of $100 per session, following the final appointment in the ADHD in Sports Program sessions.
We can help! Possibilities Clinic offers a complimentary 20-minute session with a member of our Next Steps Navigation Team. These are professionals from education and healthcare who will listen to your questions, discuss your concerns, and help you clarify your next steps.
