Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying (RPQ)

Caroline Phillips completed her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University in 2024 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology, from Toronto Metropolitan University. She is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and in May of 2026 completed her basic training in EMDR Therapy. For over two years, she has worked with clients under the neurodiverse umbrella, including their families, with the goal of helping them better understand and work in harmony with their neurodivergent brains. Caroline comes from a neurodiverse family herself and brings both lived experience and professional training to her work, treating every client with deep care.

Many of Caroline’s clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed with anxiety, weighed down by life’s challenges, or burnt out from navigating demands from society that don’t align with their neurodivergent experience. They may feel alone, disconnected from their sense of self, or stuck trying to find a path forward. Caroline offers a safe space where clients can learn to work in harmony with their neurodivergent minds. Her approach is neurodiverse-affirming, queer-affirming, client-centred, and individualized, tailored to each person’s unique story, needs, values, goals, and beliefs. She meets clients where they are and walks alongside them on a journey of self-discovery and meaningful change, helping them build strategies and skills through evidence-based practices that promote their strengths and empowerment.

Through their work together, clients begin to develop greater self-awareness, feel more grounded, and gain useful skills and strategies to navigate their specific struggles. At her core, Caroline is positive, collaborative, warm, and uplifting. She aims to celebrate differences, empower neurodivergent minds, and help clients live in alignment with their authentic selves, free of judgment and criticism.

Caroline works with children (6+), teens (12+), individual adults (18+), parents of neurodivergent children, neurodivergent individuals, and clients navigating trauma and PTSD.

Outside of the clinic, Caroline enjoys swimming, music (singing and playing guitar), golfing, hiking, puzzles, adult colouring books, and reading. A fun fact about Caroline: she writes music in her free time.
