Hi, I’m Mariemurella! I hold a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, where I double majored in Psychology and Women’s Studies. Drawing from both my academic background and lived experience, I understand the importance of adapting support to meet each student’s individual needs, which is why I take a personalized, strengths-based, and inclusive approach to academic support.
I have experience supporting elementary and high school students, including ADHD and neurodivergent learners, by helping them build confidence, strengthen study habits, and develop learning strategies that align with their unique strengths and needs. I believe education is about learning how to learn, and I value flexible approaches that recognize diverse ways of thinking and processing information.
My goal is to create an engaging and supportive environment where students feel capable, motivated, and empowered throughout their learning journey. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, painting, exercising, learning new skills, and socializing.
