Saad Khan (he/him) is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology and Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology from York University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Saad is currently completing his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Neuropsychology at Fielding Graduate University.
At the Possibilities Clinic, Saad brings a compassionate, neuroscience-informed, and evidence-based approach to helping individuals and couples manage trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress-related challenges. He integrates Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy, and the Gottman Method for couples. Saad has experience working and volunteering in diverse mental health settings including Under the Banyan Tree Centre for the Intellectually Challenged and The Scarborough Hospital Birchmount Campus Psychiatric Ward. As a former Combat Medic with the Canadian Armed Forces, he offers a deep understanding of trauma, recovery, and the strength required for healing.
With years of clinical experience, Saad has provided treatment for individuals navigating Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) trauma, PTSD, WSIB-related stress, and complex emotional injuries. He works extensively with military members, RCMP officers, first responders, amputees, and couples. Saad combines scientific research with compassion to inspire hope and transformation. Being fluent in both English and Urdu, he is committed to providing inclusive and accessible care. He believes that every person holds the potential to thrive, and that with the right guidance and compassion, possibilities truly become limitless.
