Dr. Juliana Tobon (she/her) received her PhD from Western University and completed her predoctoral training at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in the Child, Youth, and Family Program, working with children with mood, anxiety, and behavioural difficulties, and with young adults with addiction and concurrent disorders. She has worked in schools, hospitals, day treatment and residential programs, and community children’s mental health centres. Dr. Tobon’s research has examined how parents experience care in Ontario’s mental health system, and she has received funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. Her recent research has examined the effects of a cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) group treatment for adults with ADHD in a primary care setting. Dr. Tobon has extensive experience treating children, adolescents, and adults with a range of concerns that are often comorbid with ADHD, including depression, anxiety, OCD, addictions, and trauma. She takes an empathic and client-centred approach to her practice and will ensure that each client receives the most appropriate, accessible, and evidence-based treatment. Dr. Tobon is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario and is credentialed as a CACBT-ACTCC Certified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.
