Autism-focused Psychologist/Psychological Associate, Licensed Anywhere in Canada

The Possibilities Clinic is growing! We are a virtual-first clinic seeking part-time and full-time Psychologists/Psychological Associates with registration in adult and/or child and adolescent assessment and diagnosis for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). 

Successful candidates will be conducting ASD assessments with our Multidisciplinary Team virtually from anywhere in Canada, serving our Ontario clients in the first phase of our growth. This role offers all the clinical and educational opportunities available to our Ontario-based psychology staff, including real-time collaboration with the Clinic’s family physicians, pediatricians, and psychiatrists in Team Rounds where testing results are reviewed, diagnoses are discussed and finalized, and Treatment Plans are created. For full time employees, if you do not have licensure in Ontario, but hold licensure in another province, we will pay for your licensing expenses and added practice insurance for Ontario.

Part-time contractor and part-time or full-time employee options are available.

Job Details and Responsibilities

• Join us as a part-time contractor or part-time or full-time employee

• Work remotely from home from anywhere in Canada, or in-person as part of a hybrid model of care if you prefer working from our Toronto office

• Conduct team-based ASD assessments
• Supervision of psychometry testing

• Prepare clinical ASD reports with the support of psychometry and administrative staff

• Collaborate as a Multidisciplinary Team Member to provide ASD diagnoses and recommendations for ongoing treatment

• Develop and communicate client-centered Treatment Plans

• Develop innovative resources and programs as part of full-time employment

• Participate in specialized assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Learning Disabilities

Qualifications

• PhD or MA in psychology

• Licensure/registration in good standing with your provincial College of Psychology plus the College of Psychologists of Ontario
• Declared competency in adults and/or children and adolescents psychology
• Proof of professional liability insurance
• Experience completing ASD assessments and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, in adults and/or children.adolescents. Other assessment competencies are a plus.
• Thorough experience in developmental, cognitive, academic, socio-emotional and behavioural assessment
• Knowledge of current ASD testing instruments
• Detail-oriented performance with a high degree of accuracy
• Commitment to client care, teamwork, and professional development
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• English proficiency is required, French proficiency is an asset
• Strict adherence to the Standards and Professional Conduct of your current provincial College of Psychology plus the College of Psychologists of Ontario
