Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with these details.
Physician appointments are covered by OHIP. If you do not have a valid Ontario Health Card, physician appointments will be billed to you directly.
Note: International students access similar coverage through the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP), a not-for-profit insurance plan created by Ontario’s universities.
Non-OHIP Services include services provided by allied health and education professionals (e.g., nurses, psychologists, psychotherapists, psychometrists, social workers, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, teachers, and academic instructors) are not covered by OHIP and will be billed to you directly.
Non-OHIP services may be covered by your private insurance plan. Please check with your insurance provider to determine if you have coverage. Upon request, we can provide you with a quote of costs prior to booking appointments. You may take this quote to your insurance provider to determine coverage. Possibilities Clinic cannot issue refunds if your insurer declines your claim after you have received our services.
Any requests for forms, letters, and/or records will incur an additional cost. You will be provided with an estimate once you send us the request.
Late cancellations, late rescheduling, or missed appointments, will be charged at a fee equivalent to the session fee. This policy applies to both OHIP and Non-OHIP services. To avoid these fees, cancellations and rescheduling must be done at least 3 business days prior to the appointment.
For your convenience, we offer automatic payments using credit card authorization. Your credit card will not be charged until the date of service. All data is encrypted by Square and stored in compliance with privacy regulations, ensuring only Square has access to your credit card details.
If you decide to make payments yourself, online, then please ensure payments are made by the due date. If we have not received your payment, or if your account is in arrears, our Billing Team will reach out to you to avoid delay or cancellation of services.

There may be some funding or financial assistance available through various government programs, charities, or community-based organizations.
Below are a few funding resources that you can look into.
Funding Resources for Neurodiversity in Ontario
Navigating neurodiversity can be difficult, particularly when it comes to obtaining funding for assessments and therapies. There are numerous resources available to families in Ontario seeking financial help for services related to ADHD, autism, and learning disorders. Here is a list of some of those resources.
Jordan’s Principle is a Canadian initiative that ensures First Nations children receive the funding they need to access essential services and products. The program covers a wide range of needs, including health, social, and educational support.
The Learning Disabilities Association of Toronto District (LDATD) established the Robert David Shuttleworth Memorial Fund in honour of Robbie Shuttleworth. The LDATD, in partnership with the Shuttleworth family, has allocated the funds to support assessment costs and program fees.
If you are an OSAP student you may be eligible for the Ontario Bursary for Students with Disabilities (BSWD) and Canada Student Grant for Services and Equipment-Students with Disabilities (CSG-DSE).
These bursaries offer funding to help pay for eligible disability-related educational services and/or equipment needed for your specific disability-related functional limitations to participate in postsecondary studies.
The costs of a psycho-educational assessment (upfront or reimbursement) or other disability assessments (reimbursement only) may also be considered.
