Heather Wesselo is an all-ages Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in mental health care and a commitment to supporting individuals across the lifespan. She earned a Bachelor of Science and Business degree with a focus in biology from the University of Waterloo in 2003. She then pursued her passion for health care by completing a Bachelor of Nursing Science degree at the University of Toronto in 2005, followed by a Master of Nursing – Nurse Practitioners degree from the University of Alberta in 2012. In 2024, Heather completed a Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions for Nurse Practitioners through the University of Toronto.
Throughout her career, Heather has had the privilege of supporting youth and adults in their mental health journeys through both in-person and virtual care roles. Her experience spans Ontario, Alberta, and Manitoba, and she currently practices in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. Heather values providing compassionate, individualized wellness care that recognizes each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals.
Outside of work, Heather loves to spend time outdoors walking, hiking and camping with her family including her dog Beau, who is a giant but gentle golden retriever.
