Kaleb is a Certified Teacher and Assistive Technology Coach committed to helping students grow, build confidence, and recognize their strengths. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminal Justice and Public Policy from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Education from Western University, where he specialized in urban education and supporting English language learners.

Many of the students Kaleb supports come to him feeling discouraged, misunderstood, or overwhelmed by learning environments that weren’t designed with their needs in mind. They may struggle with traditional academic expectations, feel frustrated by tools that don’t work for them, or worry that their challenges define their abilities. Too often, they’ve been handed technology without being truly seen as individuals, leaving them disconnected from their own strengths and unsure of how to move forward.

Kaleb strives to change that by beginning with the student, not the device. His approach is relational, collaborative, and deeply individualized. He takes time to understand each learner’s strengths, challenges, interests, and unique learning style, then works alongside them to explore strategies and assistive technologies that genuinely fit the way they learn. Rather than simply introducing a tool or strategy, he works through repeated practice, modelling, and guided instruction to help students understand how and when to use it effectively. His practice is grounded in a neurodivergent-affirming, anti-oppressive, and student-centered lens, ensuring every learner feels respected, heard, and empowered.

Through their work together, students begin to feel more grounded, self-aware, and equipped with tools that work for them, building confidence, independence, and meaningful skills they can carry into their everyday academic lives.

Kaleb is best suited to supporting school-aged children and adolescents with ADHD, Learning Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Tourette Syndrome, anxiety, and/or complex or overlapping learning needs, particularly students who experience challenges with reading, writing, organization, executive functioning, attention, or task completion. He speaks English.

Outside of his work, Kaleb finds joy in the everyday things that keep him grounded — playing hockey, gardening, cooking, sports, anime, video games, and spending time with his seven-year-old cat, Winnie. These parts of his life remind him of the value of patience, curiosity, and showing up consistently for the things we care about. Fun fact: his favourite animal is an orangutan.
