Samara Roher (she/her) is a registered Occupational Therapist (OT) within the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists. She received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours Specialization in Psychology) from Western University, and then went on to receive a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from University of Toronto. She has experience working with children and adults, in hospital, private practice and community settings. Samara’s passion for mental health drives her work as an occupational therapist. She supports individuals in a client-centred manner, considering who they are, their environment, and their meaningful occupations (anything a person wants or needs to do in everyday life). She is dedicated to empowering her clients to set meaningful activity goals and working together with them to overcome any barriers they may face. Outside of work, Samara enjoys spending time with her loved ones, travelling, practicing yoga/meditation and taking long walks with her four-legged friends, Riley and Marty. She incorporates these hobbies into her daily life to stay grounded and centred.
