Dr. Deborah Levine was an adjunct professor at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work and a lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. She has extensive experience in student mental health and support services at the university, working with individuals and groups struggling with ADD/ADHD, depression, eating disorders, anxiety, and academic challenges.

Dr. Levine served as the clinical supervisor for “Counseline,” an initiative that introduced cyber counselling as a viable treatment modality at the university. A graduate of the Toronto Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis, she provides insight-oriented therapies for individuals, couples, and parent-child dyads dealing with ADD/ADHD and learning disabilities.

Her approach emphasizes the connection between mind and body, integrating techniques such as the Relaxation Response and sensorimotor approaches. She also conducts evidence-based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) specifically adapted for ADHD.
