Dr. Debra Lean (she/her) is a Clinical and School Psychologist working with children, adolescents and adults and is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She has also practiced as a school-based psychologist and worked in hospitals, clinics and private practice. Dr. Lean recently retired as Chief Psychologist with the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. She is an Executive Member of the Educational and School Psychology Section of the Canadian Psychological Section and is the Chair of the Section on Psychology in Education of the Ontario Psychological Association. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the Canadian Journal of School Psychology. Dr. Lean is the co-author of two books on integrating school-based mental health services: Barriers to Learning: The Case for Integrated Mental Health Services in Schools (2010) and School-based Mental Health: A Framework for Intervention (2013).
