Dr. Vanderloon is a School and Clinical Psychologist working with children and adolescents. She received her Ph.D. from Western University. Dr. Vanderloon mainly uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches in her intervention work with youth and their families. It is of utmost importance to Dr. Vanderloon that clients are given a space that is safe, collaborative, and strengths-based. At Possibilities Dr. Vanderloon provides Psychoeducational and ADHD assessments for both children and adolescents with learning and social-emotional needs. In addition, Dr. Vanderloon provides individual therapy for children and adolescents with low mood, anxiety, emotion regulation challenges, and ADHD. When she’s not at work, Dr. Vanderloon loves hiking. Recently she climbed Machu Picchu in Peru—which was hard work but an adventure worth taking! Her favourite weekend activity is playing outside with her dogs and hanging out at her cottage!
