Zita Lau is a Doctoral Intern who is currently completing her PhD in School and Applied Child Psychology at Western University. Over the years, she has worked with children, adolescents, and families in schools, community practices, and research settings. In her work, Zita values learning about each individual’s perspective through open communication, and collaborates with families, encouraging individuals to work as a team. Zita’s strengths-based approach means she believes strongly in each child’s potential and supports individuals in advocating for themselves. At Possibilities, Zita provides comprehensive ADHD and psychoeducational assessments for children and youth with diverse learning and social-emotional needs. During her spare time, Zita relaxes by creating art and spending time with friends and family.
