Dr. Kelly Blanchette is a Clinical Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and families. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and adopts a supportive, non-judgmental, and strength-based approach to working with young people and their families. She is an LGBT2SQ+ ally and tailors her approach to individual clients by incorporating elements of empirically-supported interventions including the Collaborative Proactive Solutions (CPS) approach as well as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills. At Possibilities, Dr. Blanchette provides coaching and therapy to children and adolescents who have symptoms of ADD/ADHD, low mood, anxiety, emotion regulation, and executive functioning difficulties. As well, she provides coaching to parents and caregivers of youth with ADHD through her 20/20 Parenting: Six Sessions for Success program. She is also part of the Multidisciplinary Assessment Team and provides ADD/ADHD diagnostic and psychoeducational assessments to children and adolescents.
