Dr. McKenzie Vanderloon is a School and Clinical Psychologist working with children and adolescents. She is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. At Possibilities, Dr. Vanderloon provides psychoeducational and ADHD assessments for both children and adolescents with learning and social-emotional needs. In addition, Dr. Vanderloon provides individual therapy for children and adolescents with low mood, anxiety, OCD, and ADHD, using approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Dr. Vanderloon is also trained in Comprehensive Behavioural Intervention for Tics (CBIT) and provides this therapy to children and adolescents with tic disorders. When she’s not at work, Dr. Vanderloon loves hiking. Recently she climbed Machu Picchu in Peru—which was hard work but an adventure worth taking! Her favourite weekend activity is playing outside with her dogs and hanging out at her cottage.
