Melissa (Mel) Liu (she/her) is a graduate of the University of Toronto, with a degree in Clinical Neuropsychology. She is also completing her post-graduate certificate in Human Resources Management.Â
She’s here to empower everyone—staff, therapists, and clients—to show up as their authentic selves. Her favourite part of her job is connecting with like-minded, passionate people, in hopes of making the world a better place than when she joined it.
She brings years of experience in process and human resources management in various mental health practices! Mel has also optimized over 100 clinic processes and rebuilt the patient experience team from the ground up. She has proven skills in managing intake and assessment protocols, as well as nurturing team collaboration.Â
Mel looks at life through a diverse, equitable and inclusive lens while striving to break down societal barriers that segregate and disconnect us from each other. She is passionate and driven, which allows her to have genuine conversations with the community; which in turn builds trusting and strong relationships. Â
Outside of work, you can find Melissa at the gym, teaching yoga, or hanging out with her two kittens!
