Sana Arcan (she/her) has obtained her HBSc at the university of Toronto double majoring in Psychology and Biology with a minor in Biomedical communications.
She has accumulated substantial experience in mental health contexts, ranging from conducting research in Horticulture Therapy to collaborating with clinicians during home visits for children with developmental delays. Additionally, she has observed speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists during behavioral assessments and helped with the administration of standardized tests. She has also gained direct patient experience volunteering at the hospital with patients at the Cancer centre and the Medical Complex Centre alongside a recreational therapist.
When she’s not at work, Sana finds relaxation in mindfulness practices like meditation and journaling. She’s also passionate about fashion, photography, and staying active at the gym.
